Funny story - a couple of weeks after this I found a book called Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow, which is based off a fairy tale which was basically the Nordic version of Eros and Psyche. I drew something in turn for that, and I was more into the Gotye song Save Me when I drew for SMIS than when I drew for this. And considering if I scan that one in, I didn't want to repeat songs so I used something else which sounds just as appropriate (because, astonishingly, there's more than one song from Making Mirrors that fit the theme so well).

Anyway I made this a long time ago for a prompt at a Club in school. The prompt was "lampara" and had to be connected with the Literary Folio theme of "love", and I was greatly itching to let my inner Greek Mythology geek out especially since I particularly love Eros and Psyche. So of course I went with the lamp scene, because it was one of, if not the the most pivotal point in the story and it would be so much easier to explain.

I stole searched for the Greek key patterns on Google and layered in some paper textures.
