NF3: Binibining Phatuphats

“Paalam, Miss Phathupats!”
Napakarami ng mga Miss Phathupats sa panahon ngayon. Hindi na sila marunong ng Kapampangan o ikinakahiya na nila ang Kapampangan dahil nakakapagsalita na sila ng Ingles na tsampurado.

"Goodbye, Miss Phathupats!"
Until today there are many examples of Miss Phathupats. They are no longer fluent in Kapampangan or are ashamed of the dialect because they can now speak porridge English. (I don't know the translation, okay? ))

1 Ifugao dress and headwrap, ethnic Filipino beads
2 Floral print panuelo-type piece over baro't saya-inspired dress

Prints came from Google Images, although I did hand-print the Ifugao pattern. I did that for the Independence Day piece last year, but it's still difficult - the end result, however, is totally worth it. Also I have those gold shoes in real life.
